Hi, I’m Esther
Storyteller, Filmmaker & Photographer
I am passionate about filmmaking and photography to capture and authentically tell stories. My style is honest, emotive and cinematic.
For the last 20 years I have been a Motion Design Director in Broadcast Television across all major terrestrial channels, particularly working for the BBC and Sky. I’ve also had the pleasure of being involved with many large commercial brands including Budweiser, Revlon, Primula and BUPA.
I’m immensely proud to have created one of the famous ‘squeaky’ BBC2 idents, as well as directing four brand commercials for Primula Cheese that resulted in a 25% increase in sales.
My photography has been published by Italian Vogue.
My aim is to bring that same level of broadcast creativity, professionalism and success to all of my brands and families.
10 Interesting facts about me
My husband I are (well, were before kids) avid travellers and have visited over 47 countries between us. Our favourite adventure was to Iceland and the magical Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
I used to live in New York and Sydney.
From my previous career as a TV Motion Design Director, I’m influenced by my favourite independent filmmakers; Richard Linklater, Gus Van Sant and Steven Soderbergh.
I love an early morning Joe Wicks HIIT then Yoga session.
My children call me ‘Mummy-2-coats’ because I always feel the cold.
I collect old shop signage letters and wood block type.
My favourite authors are Caitlin Moran and Brené Brown.
Guilty pleasure watching is RuPaul’s Drag Race.
My favourite snack are Medjool dates.
